Potassium butyl xanthate (PBX)

Potassium butyl xanthate is a very powerful collector with high selectivity, widely used in flotation processing of sulfide multi-metallic ores, especially used in the natural cycle flotation of copper ores and pyrite, such as chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite, etc. It is also used in the flotation of nickel ores, especially for the flotation processing of Cu-Ni complex sulfide ore, as well as gold ore associated with pyrite.
